Mike's Quest to Elevate the Spray Foam Community

Hello everyone, greetings! I’m Mike Dynna, owner of Spray Jones Inc. and creator of ThinkSprayFoam. For the past 25 years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the spray foam insulation industry. That’s 25 years of hands-on experience, dedication, and growth in a field that has shaped my career and my life. Out of those 25 years, I’ve spent 20 of them owning and running Spray Jones, a spray foam insulation contractor based in Canada. I also spent 5 years working in wholesale distribution, gaining a well-rounded perspective on the industry.
Along the way, I created the Spray Jones YouTube channel to address the lack of quality information and guidance in the spray foam industry. I wanted to contribute by providing content to help others on their journey. Through this channel, I wasn’t just teaching—I was learning alongside the community. After 7 successful years, educating 33,000 subscribers and reaching 7 million viewers, May 16th will mark the 8th anniversary of Spray Jones. The feedback has been incredible, and I’m proud of the positive impact it’s had. However, I realized there was still a demand for deeper, more interactive knowledge—something I couldn’t fully provide through videos alone. That’s when I decided to create a platform similar to YouTube, but with a deeper level of interaction, that would allow not just me, but others to help each other as well.
When I was first learning about spray foam, I was fortunate to be in a position where I could gather insights from some incredible people. Through my job, I connected with suppliers, chemists, inventors, equipment reps, and even CEOs and presidents of companies. I had the opportunity to sit back, listen, and learn from some of the best in the industry.
Now, I want to bring that same experience to you. The best way to learn is by surrounding yourself with industry experts, listening to their conversations, and asking the right questions. Having experienced the power of being immersed in those high-level discussions and seeing the positive impact of the YouTube channel, I wanted to bring those experiences together.
